Helen Majemite is a transformational leader, social entrepreneur, author, and leadership and resilience consultant with over two decades of experience advancing women's empowerment, community development, and inclusive social impact. She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Women for Social and Rural Development Initiative (WSRDI), where she provides strategic leadership in designing and implementing programmes that strengthen women's leadership, economic empowerment, and sustainable community development.Her work focuses on building strategic partnerships across government, civil society, development institutions, and the private sector to expand opportunities for underserved women, strengthen local communities, and promote inclusive development. Through WSRDI, she has led initiatives in leadership development, entrepreneurship, advocacy, health awareness, youth engagement, and community resilience, with a strong emphasis on locally driven and sustainable solutions.
Helen is also the Founder of CEERI Foods, a social enterprise established to create economic opportunities within the informal economy by supporting women entrepreneurs, promoting local value chains, and demonstrating how purpose-driven businesses can generate both social and economic impact.
