Hajia Lami Tumaka is a highly respected communications strategist, public relations expert, and corporate leader with more than three decades of experience across the public and private sectors.She began her professional career as an educator before transitioning into journalism with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), where she developed a strong foundation in media and public communication. She later served as Public Relations Manager at Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) Limited before joining the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), where she dedicated over two decades of distinguished service. Rising to the position of Director, she played a pivotal role in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, corporate reputation management, and international cooperation.

A Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Hajia Tumaka is widely recognised for her excellence in strategic communication, leadership, and public service.
